Bio

Bryan Ollivier is a proprietor in the older sense of the word — the one who answers for the whole thing. From Bakersfield, he runs South Valley Companies, a water well drilling, pump, and electrical contractor that has kept San Joaquin Valley water moving since 1976, and Chemex Chemicals, a distribution and blending operation serving the same ground.

The unusual part is that he builds the software too. Tired of tools designed by people who had never stood on a drill site, he founded Peak Dynamics and wrote PeakForms — the field operations platform his own crews run every day — then kept going: billing and back-office systems, forecasting tools for water operators, and an AI chief of staff that reads his mail before he does. Every product Peak Dynamics ships was field-tested on his own payroll first.

He works where the trades meet the terminal — days spent on wells, pumps, and chemical logistics; nights shipping code. The through-line is a simple conviction: the person who has to live with a tool ought to be the one who builds it, and a fifty-year-old field company that adopts new technology with intent can move faster than a startup that has to guess at what the work actually is.
